“It takes a village…”. Taking care of the next generation is a communal task. Barbers have traditionally had a vital role in impacting the youth. As cultural epicenters, Barbershops are a gathering spot to discuss politics, sports, or what’s new in the neighborhood. Today, barbershops are constantly making their presence be known. Whether that be through Back 2 School supply drives or free haircuts for the homeless, barbers are giving back in their communities. At theCut, we love what we see from barbers and what to support them as we can.
We’re proud to be announcing a new barbershop sponsorship program, theCutNCommunities. For barbers planning or hosting community focused events in their area, we’ll be providing up to $500 in resources to help make the event a success. The funds can be used on flyers, signage, digital ads, supplies or rental space. To be eligible, barbers should apply with the event details at least 45 days before the proposed event date. We’ll be reviewing applications during the first week of the month. Every month we’ll select 2 events then contact selected barbers thereafter.
