Nathalie Emmanuel on Being Tech-Savvy and Reuniting with Her 'F9' Family
Now playing in theaters is F9, directed by Justin Lin and starring returning cast members Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster and Sung Kang, with Oscar winner Helen Mirren, with Kurt Russell and Oscar winner Charlize Theron. F9 also features Grammy-winning superstar Cardi B as new franchise character Leysa, a woman with a connection to Dom’s past, and a cameo by Reggaeton sensation Ozuna.
F9 is the ninth chapter in the Fast & Furious Saga, which has endured for two decades and has earned more than $5 billion around the world.
Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena, the upcoming The Suicide Squad).
Having played Megan Ramsey in three of the nine films (Furious 7, The Fate of the Furious, F9) as well as Harriet in two of the three Maze Runner films (Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, Maze Runner: The Death Cure), Emmanuel has built quite a fan base with these blockbuster franchises. In addition, there’s also her role as Missandei in the Game of Thrones series. In speaking with BlackFilmandTV.com’s Wilson Morales, Emmanuel talks about her tech savviness as well as reuniting with her ‘Fast’ family once production started up again.

Undaunted. Outspoken. Trailblazers. Trendsetters. Khane Kutzwell, Kiah Lyles, Oyinlola Isiaka, and Onyinye Obasi are just some of the women in barbering who are blazing trails as barbers and busting down toxic ideologies that have had a hold on barbering for entirely too long.
